Monbleau Hall

 Return to Minutes

President Jeanne Tassinari called the meeting to order at 1:08 PM.  93 members were in attendance.

OFFICERS’ Reports

President Jeanne Tassinari explained the allocation of $1300 for Holiday Town decorations.  The original 2010/2011 budget allocated $1000 for this item.  It was approved by the Board in May, 2010 and presented to and approved by the general membership at the June 1, 2010 meeting.  The Executive Board approved a $300 increase in response to a request from the Chamber of Commerce liaisons.  See By – Laws, Article VI, Section 1.a (page 48).  There were a few questions but all were answered satisfactorily.

Jeanne further stated that we were “not throwing out the artificial wreaths”.  She encouraged members to address any unanswered questions to her.

Jeanne announced the 2 Board members of the Nominating Committee were Nancy Atkinson and Laurel Ferry.  She asked for a nomination from the general membership.  Sue Mills nominated Dottie Miller.  The nomination was seconded and approved by a voice vote.

Secretary’s Report of the September 7 meeting had been distributed by email.  It was accepted for file.

Treasurer’s Report for the period ending September 30, 2010 had been distributed by email.  It was accepted for file (copy attached).
